There are so many couples out there who struggle financially and could use a break.
There are so many couples out there that give their all for others and never ask for anything in return.

It is for those couples, that we want to give back by offering free wedding photography to one deserving couple!
We are so excited to see what the outcome will be and meet the lucky winners!

•Their story (How they met, got engaged, and why they deserve this free wedding coverage)
•A picture or two of the couple

The top 3 deserving couples will be announced here on the blog with their photos and stories on December 25th, 2011 after which readers will have until December 31, 2011 11:59pm EST to vote for their favorite deserving couple. The winning couple will be announced on the blog on January 3, 2012.

The Technicalities (please read):

Your submission must be TRUE. This contest is for couples who have overcome great odds, hardships, or are otherwise deserving of free wedding photography. Weddings must take place during the 2012 year and can be anywhere in the world. If we are already booked for your wedding date, and you are not able to change it, then the winning couple must forfeit the prize and the next qualifying couple will receive the prize. For weddings over 150 miles from Savannah, Georgia, travel fees for two photographers is required to be paid by the winning couple.This giveaway has no cash value. Entries must be submitted no later then December 18, 2011 in order to qualify. Couples may enter themselves or be nominated by another party. However in order to qualify, the nominated couple must be aware of the entry. Past clients, or currently booked clients do not qualify for this giveaway. An email will be sent to the winning couple and if multiple unsuccessful attempts have been made to reach the couple, or for some reason the couple is unable to claim the prize, they will forfeit the prize, and it will be given to the next qualifying couple.

You might remember Lindsey and Jonathan from their romantic beach engagement session…

They first met about 6 years ago on their first class of college.  They were both architecture majors at Georgia Tech.  Lindsey and Jonathan became instant friends and were even teamed up to do their very first project together.  Which Lindsey told me, they flirted the whole time throughout the project.  Though they were great friends throughout college, Jonathan had to wait for Lindsey, as she was already in a relationship.  It took a couple years but Lindsey finally came to her senses, and finally started dating Jonathan.  The two of them continued their education and both received their master’s degrees together from Georgia Tech.

Their love has grown throughout the years and has even endured distance.  Jonathan lives up in Connecticut, and Lindsey is down here in Atlanta.  Their relationship is one that is fun, beautiful and true,  you can see that it is one of those relationships that seems easy and just works.  These two are perfect for each other, and it was amazing to witness their love yesterday!

Lindsey and Jonathan tied the knot at the beautiful and simple Bethesda Whitfield Chapel.  Then celebrated at the historic Vic’s on the River.

Have an amazing time in Rome and on your Mediterranean cruise!  (I am so jealous!!!)

Meet Lindsey and Jonathan!

The sun shined bright and yesterdays storms were all cast away through the night. This was the day that April and Waring dreamed it to be.

This celebration was a long time coming as April and Waring have been together for eight years.  This amazing story of childhood sweethearts is so commendable in itself, in my mind. I love hearing stories like this, as they happen so few and far in between.

The day started with the wedding party getting ready at the beautiful Avia Hotel, a location distinct in appearance and romantic feel. The romance continued with a ceremony in Forsyth park, rich in beauty and history. And if you have ever been to Savannah a staple on your tour.

After a heart-felt ceremony, in which April and Waring confessed their love for one another, family and friends were invited back to Vic’s on the River, whom hosted a grand reception for all.

It is truly great when a day comes together as planned, even better when you see your dream and hard work pay off in perfect fashion. That was the day April and Waring had!

Congratulations guys.. I had so much fun with you two!

I wish you so much luck in your future together and have an AMAZING time in Ireland!!

Meet April and Waring!

The weather really put its best foot forward for Beth and Eric, so that they could marry under the majestic oaks in Warren Square. This wedding had a great mixture of old Savannah charm, blended with the elegance of a British Isles tradition.

Wedding guests in the British Isles traditionally wear a fancy hat, fascinator, or headpiece. The bride and groom have requested that their guest celebrate the bride’s love for all things British by wearing such a hat or facinator to their wedding… It was so amazing to see all of the headpieces, hats, and garb worn by family and friends to honor Beth and Eric on their special day.

Beth and Eric are such a gentle spirited couple, shown in their demeanor, actions, and love for one another. The way they ADORE one another is so apparent. It never grows old to see a couple this much in love. I hope you two have a life filled with nothing but the love that I saw from you today!

I had so much fun working with you guys, your family and your friends. Have an incredible time in Hawaii!

Meet Beth and Eric!

Janee and Jessy came to Savannah from Hawaii, where Jessy is stationed in the Navy. They chose Savannah to be the location of their special day not only due to the Savannah’s charm and beauty, but due to the fact it was  the perfect central meeting point for both families, travel wise.

With the fact that they live in Hawaii, Janee would track the weather day by day in hopes that fair weather would bless her day. It was so cute to get little notes/emails on her worries. I was so glad with the fact that, not only was the weather fair, but their wasn’t a cloud in the sky!

Savannah gave Janee and Jesse a glorious day to celebrate their vows downtown in  beautiful Telfair Square.

Once the ceremony concluded, the family and friends were all shifted to Vic’s on the River, a location the couple chose due to the riverfront location and beauty of their decor. Vic’s did not disappoint.

I was truly honored to have met such and amazing couple, in Janee and Jessy. Their light-hearted spirits and true love for one another will lead them to great things. I had such a great time. Thank you for letting me join in your special day.

I wish you two the best, and hope to cross paths again one day!

Meet Janee and Jessy!

Jeanette and Tim exchanged their vows of commitment to one another at Trinity United Methodist Church in Savannah. What an amazing setting, and a perfect setting for such a special event. The ceremony was such a personable occasion, shared by family and friends.

As the day commenced, the celebration moved to Vic’s on the River, where the party started and lasted throughout the night. The dance floor was crowded and smiles were found throughout the location.

Jeanette and Tim have a special kind of love, one that is not easily acquired and one that many strive to achieve. These two were definitely brought together for a reason.

I wish you guys much luck in the future, and may your days be filled with the love I saw in both of your eyes today.
