Ryan and Jordan came down from North Carolina to wed on a beautiful Savannah fall evening!

Jordan and Ryan wanted their day to be intimate and about their close friends and family.  They chose the Avia Hotel, in downtown Savannah for this touching affair! The two held their ceremony on The Avia’s rooftop terrace at twilight followed by a charming dinner reception. It was such a romantic location and setup, adorned with so many rustic fall details…

The day came together perfectly, and had every bit of the beautiful and unique touches that represented the love and life of Jordan and Ryan!

Meet Ryan and Jordan!

With a late evening ceremony, Murielle and Stanton committed their love to one another on the back river of Tybee Island, here in Georgia. With the high tides, crashing waves, and gorgeous sunset it was everything these two imagined for their ceremony and their beginnings as husband and wife!

After their beautiful ceremony, we had a lot fun capturing a perfect sunset and some intimate moments for Murielle and Stanton. It is always such an amazing thing to be able to witness such true love between two people, and no matter how many times we see it, it always makes us smile!

Once the sun set, the celebration shifted to the Avia Hotel where the party didn’t stop till late into the night!  DJ Jeff, from First City Events, kept the party going, and queued up the perfect music for some intimate moments shared during family dances, there were very few dry eyes in the house!

The day was not only fun and beautiful, but everywhere throughout the wedding day you could see pieces and aspects of Murielle and Stanton. From their close friends and family, to their elegant and modern designs, and their unique wedding attire! It was truly a beautiful and amazing day!

Petrina and James came down from Atlanta to spend the day with me, and to use Savannah’s beautiful backdrop for their engagement pictures. To get to know each other better, we decided to walk throughout downtown Savannah and explore the sites and some antique stores. As we made our way around the historic district, Petrina and James showed their devout and caring love towards one another. It was so beautiful to be around!

The afternoon was very much about, just having fun and letting Petrina and James be themselves.

I was honored to have the opportunity to capture what you mean to each other, and see your love through my lens!

Well today, I FINALLY got to photograph one of my very best friends engagement session!

April Joy and I became instant friends a couple years ago, we clicked right from the start and have only become closer since then.  She is one of the most fun loving, big hearted, silly, caring, sweetest person you will ever meet.  April Joy is one of those people that can not only light up a room, but light up everybody in that room.  She is just plain fun to be around and has been a true best friend to me ever since I have met her.  Then there is Cody, April Joy’s fiance,  Cody could not be a  better fit for my AJB.  He treats April Joy like a princess and reflects every bit of love and devotion given, right back to her. There is no doubt he cares so much about her and more importantly for her.

You two together are an unstoppable force!

We love you guys so much and had an awesome time spending the day sharing laughs and smiles and most importantly capturing your fun, caring and loving relationship.

I am very proud of our new space and cant wait to take full advantage of it. It is nice to officially have a place to call “home”!

On to some pics…

The sun shined bright and yesterdays storms were all cast away through the night. This was the day that April and Waring dreamed it to be.

This celebration was a long time coming as April and Waring have been together for eight years.  This amazing story of childhood sweethearts is so commendable in itself, in my mind. I love hearing stories like this, as they happen so few and far in between.

The day started with the wedding party getting ready at the beautiful Avia Hotel, a location distinct in appearance and romantic feel. The romance continued with a ceremony in Forsyth park, rich in beauty and history. And if you have ever been to Savannah a staple on your tour.

After a heart-felt ceremony, in which April and Waring confessed their love for one another, family and friends were invited back to Vic’s on the River, whom hosted a grand reception for all.

It is truly great when a day comes together as planned, even better when you see your dream and hard work pay off in perfect fashion. That was the day April and Waring had!

Congratulations guys.. I had so much fun with you two!

I wish you so much luck in your future together and have an AMAZING time in Ireland!!

Meet April and Waring!

The day started at Trinity United Methodist Church, the host location of the ceremony. Family and friends, from all over the US, gathered to celebrate in Christen and Matthew’s vows of love and devotion to one another.

Once bonded in marriage, the celebration shifted, as guests moved to the Avia Hotel, the location of Christen and Matthew’s reception. Smiles, laughter, and dancing filled the room. It seemed as if the dance floor was always packed! What an amazing party!

Christen and Matthew are a great couple to be around, their kind eyes and demeanor tell so much about them. You guys make a beautiful couple!

Have a great time in St. Lucia… relax and really take time to appreciate the first days of your marriage together.

Yesterday, I had the great pleasure of working with Jennifer, an amazing bride-to-be from North Carolina. Jennifer came down to have her bridals taken at the Avia Hotel, here in Savannah. Jennifer and her fiance, Brad, will wed in Palmetto Dunes on Hilton Head Island, later this year, in what is sure to be a unforgettable ceremony.

During the day. Jennifer told me such a cute story of how she and Brad came to be… I have to share!

It turns out that Jennifer and Brad were actually roommates for some time. The funny part is, while roommates this were purely platonic between them. It wasn’t till they separated as roommates, and happened to meet up at a social gathering  later down the road, that the sparks flew… Love was under their noses the whole time!

Its so crazy how things work out sometimes!

I had such a great time with you Jennifer! I cant wait to be part of your Big Day!
