It was a beautiful morning to walk downtown Savannah with Beth and Eric. The weather and setting was just perfect to capture their engagement portraits. Savannah smiled on them today.
While walking through downtown Eric and Beth created memorable moments which were so much fun to capture. You can just feel the love and personalities reflected through one another. I truly adore working with couples like this.
Beth and Eric have planned an amazing wedding at Warren Square in Savannah, with a theme based from the British Isles. Wedding guests in the British Isles traditionally wear a fancy hat, fascinator, or headpiece. The bride and groom have requested the their guest celebrate the bride’s love for all things British by wearing such a hat or facinator to their wedding… HOW COOL IS THAT!!
I am so excited to be part of Beth and Eric’s Big Day and cannot wait to celebrate it with them.
I can just tell that it will not only be meaningful but also beautiful!
Meet Beth and Eric!

With my wedding day getting closer, it was time for my hair and makeup trial. How exciting!!!
This afternoon I spent with the amazing stylists and makeup artists of Rob’s on Forsyth Park. I was a little nervous about the day, but let me say, Chellie Heckman (my hair stylist) and Genevieve Routon (my makeup artist) totally put my mind at ease with their professionalism and sparkling personalities.
After getting pampered by the salon staff this afternoon, I am so happy I chose them and look forward to October 11 so much more…
So whats a photographers blog without photos…
Thought I would share a few captures of my hair and makeup, which I LOVE

Katie and Brian couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day to celebrate their love for one another.
They came down from North Carolina to wed at the beautiful Palmetto Bluff Plantation. Palmetto Bluff hosts one of the most breathtaking South Carolina bluff views, as well as a quaint community with true Lowcountry charm.
You could never question Katie and Brian’s love for one another. Their gentle touches, small kisses, and subtle glances, just filled the day. You couldn’t even mention Brian’s name to Katie without her giving a brilliant smile.
Their special day was filled with so much love and emotion, and it was an honor to take part in it.
I see beautiful things in your future, you guys have a love that many strive for, and few find.
Have a great time in Mexico!!
Meet Katie and Brian!

The last few days have been ones of great distress for these two. Tropical storms threatened Savannah, and it was quite possible that their wedding could be canceled/postponed.
On the eve of Tropical Storm Hanna, Lindy and Keith took their vows of love to one another at the Mansion on Forsyth Park. With all of the buildup about the storm, we were all quite excited when Hanna turned out to pass Savannah by. Lindy and Keith were able to celebrate the wedding that they envisioned, in a beautiful setting, with no trouble from Mother Nature.
Friends and family came in from throughout the world to share in the love that just radiated from Lindy and Keith. The details were set, emotions were high, and the ceremony did not disappoint. Everything turned out just beautifully.
It never ceases to amaze me when I see couples like this, just so in love. It is just an honor to be part of their day.
I wish you guys strong hearts and great prosperity. May you always find peace in one another’s eyes.
On to some pics….
Meet Lindy and Keith!

Catherine and Mark have an unique story to tell, being that they actually married on August 12th in Rome, Italy. A wedding in Italy is pretty much a fairy tale for any bride… and looking through some their wedding day images, the ceremony was just breathtaking…
Though the couple had their ceremony abroad, they celebrated locally with family and friends yesterday at Spring Island’s River House. Spring Island is an amazing location, with many backdrops and scenes to shoot. Be it the Old Tabby Ruins or the splendor of the marsh view, the location couldn’t have been more grand. I was very excited and wanted to take full advantage.
Catherine and Mark were just beautiful together. They were relaxed, confident, and just an all around joy to be around. With their smiles and subtle whispers to one another, their love was ever so apparent, which always makes my job easier. It is always a pleasure to work with couples like this.
It was a honor meeting and working with you guys… may you two find happiness in everything you attempt and hold dear.
On to a few shots from the day…
Meet Catherine and Mark!
