Worldwide Photo Walk 2010

This weekend marked the third annual Scott Kelby Worldwide Photo Walk.

Rich and I decided it would be fun to take part and shoot some images for fun. Not to mention meet some new people along the way!

Besides being a SUPER hot Savannah day, we had a lot of fun during the walk. We shared a bunch of smiles and laughs throughout the walk, and are so glad we decided to do it.

It was fun to shoot in a no pressure setting. With this in mind, we even decided to take along some older camera bodies we don’t usually shoot with anymore, and put them through some paces again. hehehe

April and Brandon (Wedding)

Always a bridesmaid… Finally a bride!

In the last two years, April has been a bridesmaid in three of our past weddings. So to say the least, we have been greatly anticipating the wedding of April and Brandon!

With her closest and sweetest friends and family helping her, April got ready to walk down the aisle and to finally see Brandon. April wanted to look like a princess, and I think she totally achieved that look, slipping into her big and beautiful Casablanca wedding dress. She was just glowing of excitement!

Brandon was of course very excited to see April as well. Just a little bit of nerves set in, while he anxiously waited for that perfect moment. The moment when he laid eyes on his bride-to-be for the first time in her dress. Both April and Brandon had the biggest smiles on their faces when they finally got to see each other for the first time.

After April and Brandon took their vows of devotion, we decided to go to one of their favorite spots, “Sweetheart Circle,” on the Georgia Southern University campus. As they will both be graduating GSU upcoming, the campus holds something special for the both of them.

April and Brandon are not only each others best friend and completely comfortable with one another, but even after 7 years of being together there is still so much love and excitement between the two of them, it was such a beautiful thing to see throughout the day.

Tali and Joe (Wedding)

Last weekend was the beautiful wedding of Tali and Joe!

Tali and Joe are two of the sweetest people, that knew exactly what they wanted their wedding day to be like. These two had very unique and personal ideas. They both wanted the day to be fun, relaxing, and most of all about who they are as a couple. The wedding and reception took place at the historic Harper Fowlkes House, here in Savannah, Georgia.

Keeping with the unique theme and distinct personalities, Tali wore a wedding dress that fit her and her personality perfectly. A dress adorned with white feathers! I honestly could not imagine her in anything else. And of course, Tali wore the brightest and cutest blue, Me Too shoes to complete her look!

Joe, just adores Tali. And it was so apparent, as he anxiously awaited his first look, of Tali, in her dress. It was so cute!

The marriage of Tali and Joe represented what their marriage was really about, promising their love and life to one another. As guests gathered around the couple for a very intimate and personal ceremony, Tali and Joe exchanged their vows of devotion to one another.

In celebration of their marriage, Tali and Joe had the most amazing first dance. It was a beautiful and choreographed waltz. Tali even changed into a shorter 30′s inspired dress for the occasion.

Family and friends celebrated into the night, and Tali and Joe were nothing but love and smiles!

Morgan Gallo and her team did an amazing job making Tali and Joe’s dream wedding come true. From the lighting, to the details, everything was simple and elegant, in the garden of the Harper Folkes house.

Have an amazing time in Sedona, Arizona!

Bianca (Bridal Session)

This past Friday was Bianca’s Bridal Session. You might remember Bianca from her engagement session a couple months ago. Well this weekend she came back to Savannah and got to “rock it out” in her amazing Kenneth Pool wedding gown!

We decided that the backdrop for her session would be the new and modern Bohemian Hotel. We had a great time running all over the hotel taking fun, sassy and sexy photos!

Bianca had a super long day by the time we met up, as she not only had her hair and make-up appointments, but drove in from North Carolina, all in the same day. A bit exhausted early on, Bianca was a trooper and powered through it for the “greater cause”. Little to her knowledge (and such a sweet sentiment), Ramon (her soon to be hubby), surprised Bianca by also driving down and meeting her here in Savannah! I know it had to take everything in him not to hop on over to the hotel to catch a glimpse of Bianca in her dress. The only thing stopping him, was he knew how much trouble he would be in if he saw Bianca in her dress before the big day! hehehe

In a month, these two are finally going to tie the knot! I can’t wait to see Ramon’s face as Bianca will walk down the aisle and marry the love of her life!

We absolutely love shooting Bianca! Of course she is crazy beautiful, but she is also hilarious, super fun, and very down to earth. We all just “click”!
We had so much fun with you girl, and you definitely, “Rocked it out!”
