Rich and I decided it would be fun to take part and shoot some images for fun. Not to mention meet some new people along the way!

Besides being a SUPER hot Savannah day, we had a lot of fun during the walk. We shared a bunch of smiles and laughs throughout the walk, and are so glad we decided to do it.

It was fun to shoot in a no pressure setting. With this in mind, we even decided to take along some older camera bodies we don’t usually shoot with anymore, and put them through some paces again. hehehe

Thank you to all of our amazing past/present/future brides and grooms! Thank you for trusting us when we lead you into a very dark and gross back alley, and tell you that it will be a great photo!  Thank you for your trust in us, to capture your unique day in our way and style.  And thank you for letting us party with you and at each wedding, making us feel like part of the family.  This year would not have existed with out you!

This year we added a new member to the “Allison Reisz Photography” team, our associate Megan. As many of you already know, Megan is an amazing talent, and has been such a big help to us in capturing your day. We feel she is the perfect fit and we could not be happier to have her on board! We are so happy to have her on our team, and can’t wait to see the amazing work she will produce in the upcoming year!

Lastly, I wanted to end this with thanking my husband Rich.  As all of you know, Rich is more then just a husband to me, he is my partner and the second half to this business.  Rich is behind the scenes a lot of the time, and does not get the recognition he deserves.  Not only is Rich the amazing photographer that many of you have witnessed but he is a very strong pillar to this business and to myself.   We are truly a team, so thank you Rich for being more to me then just a husband.

Thank you again, to all of you, for making 2009, a successful and an amazing year!  We cannot wait till next year, and look forward to sharing in all of the love and memories of our new bride and grooms!

Rich, recently had the opportunity to do this, assisting the incredibly talented Kevin Banker, of Banker Optical Media, on a commercial architecture shoot. Rich quickly realized, that shooting architecture is a whole different level of photography. It takes a different “eye” and different set of skills.

It just goes to show to you that, there ARE different photographers suited for different genres and mediums.

Usually being behind the camera, Rich found it fun and inspiring to be on the assisting side of things. Every photographer has their own “eye”, so it was great for him to try and envision the final creations that Kevin had shot.

What a gorgeous home!

I would like to introduce the newest member of our camera family. We don’t have an official “name” yet, but we are definitely playing with a few. Yes, we name our cameras. I know a little silly, but hey, to each their own right…hehehe

We are very excited to share and shoot with out new-to-us Yashica Mat-124G.

Oh yeah, and for those that don’t know… IT’S A FILM CAMERA! In such a digital age, its nice to be able to get back to basics.

As many of you know, I am just a part of the team that compromises our studio. Rich, my husband, also shoots with me, as we are a husband and wife team. We have so much fun working together and I love the fact that we can share this journey together.

Now, I would like to take a minute to introduce the newest member of our family, Megan Olson. Megan is a super talented photographer in her own rank, not to mention our right hand. She fits into our team perfectly and I just don’t know how we did it without her at times.

Megan, we are so happy to have you aboard!

Miller’s Professional Imaging (my lab) recently contacted me, and asked if they could feature a couple of my images, on the homepage of their website… I was floored!! Miller’s homepage features some of the most inspiring photographers in the industry (Check It Out). It would be more than an honor to have my work included with theirs.

Well, this morning, when about to log into the Miller’s site… I was greeted with not only one, but two of my images. Sooo cool!
