Kara and Jeremiah (Wedding) – Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

This past week Rich and I had the incredible honor of photographing the wedding of Kara and Jeremiah in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico!
What a gorgeous place!!

The wedding week was held at Dreams Puerto Vallarta Resort & Spa.  The only way to describe Dreams, is that it is truly a paradise.  Dreams Puerto Vallarta is located in the green mountains of the Sierra Madre Mountain Range and sits on the beautiful private cove of Bandera Bay.  Here is where Kara and Jeremiah’s friends and family gathered to celebrate their marriage.

Kara and Jeremiah’s story dates back… The couple went to high school together and even to the prom, but their true relationship did not start until years later.  The two of them went separate ways after high school, but almost a decade later became close friends again.  Their friendship turned into a love that is now filled with so much trust and devotion and most of all, fun.

This week I got to see this love, but it was defined to me on one particular afternoon.  See, every wedding has something that goes wrong, whether it is a lost earring back or rain on your wedding day, there is always something.  Well Kara and Jeremiah had a lot of somethings in the past couple weeks, first it was a dress issue, then a travel issue, and then a lost ring.  Although Kara was distraught, and could not believe how it was one thing after another, Jeremiah said to her, “Kara, we can get through anything.”  That to me showed their true relationship, that no matter what comes their way, they will get through it together. 

Needless to say, Kara and Jeremiah got through the couple bumps of classic wedding mishaps and their wedding week was perfect to them.  What could be more perfect then your closest friends and family gathering in one of the most beautiful places on earth to declare their love for one another.

Thank you Kara and Jeremiah for an AMAZING week. And thank you to your friends and family, who are some of the most open, caring and crazy fun people we have ever met.  We had the most amazing time with all of you.
