The beauty of this session is that the magic was still at an all time high with this couple. I say this due to the fact Kevin had just given Jill her engagement ring prior that day.

Jill, going to law school in upstate New York, and Kevin, working in Boston, came down to visit Savannah and Paula Deen, not to mention to see each other for the first time in a month. As the old wise tale mentions, “Absence makes the heart grow fonder”, well these two were no exception to that rule. Their love and passion for one another was apparent in every action. It doesn’t hurt they hadn’t seen each other in a month and Jill had some new bling to sport around.

We decided to take a walk through the historic district to enjoy Savannah’s local beauty. With Daylight Savings Time in full effect, the sun decides to run away earlier than usual, so we took the opportunity to shoot through dusk and into the night. For you photographers, that means high ISO (6400 ISO ).

What an amazing couple to work with and an amazing opportunity to be there on the same day of the ring exchange. Jill and Kevin’s excitement was still so fresh and so great to experience.
