It hasn’t been that long since I shot Jeanette and Tim’s engagement portraits, but you would think it was. You could definitely tell their love for each other then, but passion and adoration these two have for each other seems to have grown immensely in the past couple months.

Jeanette and Tim exchanged their vows of commitment to one another at Trinity United Methodist Church in Savannah. What an amazing setting, and a perfect setting for such a special event. The ceremony was such a personable occasion, shared by family and friends.

As the day commenced, the celebration moved to Vic’s on the River, where the party started and lasted throughout the night. The dance floor was crowded and smiles were found throughout the location.

Jeanette and Tim have a special kind of love, one that is not easily acquired and one that many strive to achieve. These two were definitely brought together for a reason.

I wish you guys much luck in the future, and may your days be filled with the love I saw in both of your eyes today.

Meet Jeanette and Tim!

What an amazing time I had with this couple, their family, and their friends!

The day started overcast, with clouds still set from the rain the night before. Over the course of the day, the weather turned a complete 360, to offer up a glorious day filled with blue skies and an ever so clear night.

Nicole and Chris, were such an amazing couple, not only in their spirit, but their personalities, and honesty. You know those couples, that you just know are right for each other? Well this is one of them. You could just tell from their interactions with each other, and others. Not to mention their subtle glances from across the room, that showed they just adored one another. ;)

The couple celebrated their love for each other at the Cathedral of St. Johns the Baptist, and partied the night away at the DeSoto Hilton. Both just majestical settings, that would set anyone in awe.

Stories like theirs are often told and rarely forgotten.

Have a great time in Jamaica guys!

Meet Nicole and Chris!

On a day that started with thunder and lightning, the dark weather took a short pause so that Brandi and Justin could celebrate their big day.

Brandi and Justin exchanged their vows at the Cathedral of St. Johns the Baptist, and amazing cathedral full of glorious windows and beautiful ornate decor. The setting definitely set the tone for an amazing celebration of love and devotion.

With the tone already set, what better romantic gesture than a horse drawn carriage ride to the reception spot. It was almost storybook like and the couple was just too cute with their signs of affection. :)

May your hearts stay true for years to come.

Have fun in Alaska guys!

Its always great to meet new people, and even better when you share common interests with them.

Amanda and Jeff came down to Savannah for the weekend from Knoxville, TN to visit old friends and to take some time out to shoot their engagement session. The couple have both shared the Savannah experience before as they both went to Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD).

We took the time today to walk around Downtown Savannah. It was a beautiful day, and Downtown was very active with today being a holiday. The Downtown District being so scenic, made for some amazing backdrops.

Amanda and Jeff have been together for a number of years and it was beautiful to see their interaction with each other after so much time was still so playful and loving. It was honestly a pleasure meeting you guys today and I look forward to your wedding :)

Congratulations on your engagement guys!

Meet Amanda and Jeff!

Had the opportunity to work with an amazing family yesterday.

Jen, her husband Shannon, and three children (Hannah, Jack, and little Ava) came down south from Missouri to vacation on Hilton Head Island. While on their vacation, they decided to take some time out for some family portraits.

Now the beauty of this story, is Jen is an amazing portrait photographer herself. Jen is the principal photographer of JPGallery studio in Missouri. It is quite flattering that she chose me to spend time with her and her beautiful family.

Thinking about locations for the shoot, we came up with Bethesda Home For Boys. What better location to shout the LowCountry than Bethesda. ;) The evening held a calming breeze, the tide was high, and the skies showed no signs of rain. An all around great day to meet a family with so much spirit and love for one another.

It was so great to meet you guys and I hope to see you guys again in the near future. :)

Oh, and Hannah, Jack, and Ava… you guys were a pleasure to be around. I hope your ice cream was everything you hoped it would be. You guys totally deserved it.

On to some of the images…

Meet Jen, Shannon, Hannah, Jack, and Ava!
