I had the opportunity to work with Ashley and James during their beautiful, intimate beach wedding.
Pillars were raised and the chairs were set on the “North Beach” area of Tybee island. Even with the busy beach setting around them, the scene that was staged, held a great sense of seclusion. Family, friends and the happy newlyweds will without a doubt, remember this event forever.
The setting was just amazing, and everything was just planned to perfection. A nice cool breeze even came into play to cut the intense summer heat.
I wish the best for you two and may your love for one another stay strong.
Meet Ashley and James!

Its always an amazing opportunity when you get to share in “first” experiences. Even more so when you get to capture someone experiencing something for the first time. I recently got this opportunity with seven month old Alice Beth.
Alice Beth, Katie (mom), and I met on North Beach of Tybee Island. We met in the morning, before the humidity of a Savannah summer day entrenched us. The weather was just perfect and the skies a bright blue. It was just an amazing day to have/share Alice Beth’s first beach experience.
I still always wonder what goes through the heads of these little ones. Pure Innocence.
Meet Alice Beth!

… We also got to have a baby “Trash the Dress” session. Instead of a wedding dress, Alice Beth trashed her baptismal gown.
Sooo Cute!

On a day which was forcasted to be gloomy with isolated showers… someone was looking out for these two. The weather held out (and was quite beautiful I might add) so that Danah and David could celebrate their commitment to one another outside over looking the water at the Savannah Yacht Club.
Family is key to Danah and David, it was expressed many times though different people, speeches, and actions. The importance put on family in their lives was inspiring.
Danah and David have a special love for one another and it was great to have the opportunity to share in their joy. Everything and everyone was just beautiful. This was truly a day that will be remembered by all in attendance.
CONGRATULATION GUYS!!!
Meet Danah and David!

… Oh … and I’d like to send a special thank you to all the help I had during the day!

This weekend I took the opportunity to fly out to Chicago, IL (my home town) to celebrate my bridal shower. With the busy wedding season upon us, it was nice to be able to enjoy something related to my own wedding.
My best friends since kindergarten Ellen and Julie, as well as my mom planned the perfect day.
The theme of the day was golf, the shower took place at the gorgeous Willow Hill Golf Course in Northbrook. Family and friends gathered to share this occasion with me and I am so thankful to all of them. Everything was beautiful. Even the rain decided to hold out for the rounds of golf before hand!
The big surprise of the day was the attendance of my sister Amber, who was not suppose to make it. Amber flew in from California, and made her entrance, much to my surprise. The funny thing was that everyone knew she was coming but me. I was completely ecstatic, with tears in my eyes, when I saw her. I am so glad she came, it just would have not have been the same with out her!
Thanks everyone I had a great time, I will miss you all but its nice to be back home in Savannah.
Here are a couple images from the day…

What a fun session working with Autumn and Tim this afternoon…
Autumn and Tim came down from Virginia to shoot their engagement session with me. It was such a beautiful day, Savannah was just shining today.
Just looking at them while shooting this afternoon, you could tell that these two have a bond with each other which you just know is “true”. Their story was all told by their eyes.
It was truly a pleasure working together and many laughs were had by all. I can’t wait to see you guys again for your wedding.
Meet Autumn and Tim!
