Selected at a GenNEXT: Rising Star by the PPA!

I am so thrilled to share a recent and very exciting honor!

Allison Reisz Photography is one of just 10 studios nationwide, to be selected by the Professional Photographers of America (PPA) as a “GenNEXT: Rising Star”! All Rising Stars are 30 years old and under and come from different backgrounds and concentrations in the photographic industry.  I could not be more honored to be selected for this opportunity, not to mention to be in the company of the other amazing photographers!

As a “GenNEXT: Rising Star”, I will be speaking at the Imaging USA national convention in San Antonio, Texas in 2011. So exciting!!:)

A bit about the session (Via PPA):

“Get ready for creative and business fires to ignite when 12 of today’s hottest young shooters take the stage to share how they and their counterparts are bringing unique talents and a different view to our industry.

Whether its exceptional imagery, fresh marketing ideas or a whole new approach to business management, this 30-and-under crowd is blazing trails through an increasingly competitive landscape. What drives them? Come see and you may just take away a whole new way of looking at your business.”

See the very first “GenNEXT: Rising Star” ad below (The image in the top right corner is ours as well!):

We will keep you all updated, and will for sure be blogging on this awesome experience!

Joslyn and Spergon (Wedding)

This weekend was the beautiful and very fun wedding of Joslyn and Spergon at the Mansion on Forsyth

Joslyn is not only beautiful, but she is one of the sweetest girls. She knows how to laugh and have a good time!  Spergon is one of the kindest men, always has a huge smile on his face, and he is just absolutely crazy about Joslyn!

This love was not only evident throughout their whole wedding day, but also in the way Spergon proposed to Joslyn…

Spergon had a whole perfect day planned for their engagement, including a romantic dinner.  That morning, however, Spergon was so filled with excitement, he could not wait until the end of the day to ask Joslyn to marry him, and ended up asking her the first thing that morning!:)

This weekend was no exception. Spergon was all nerves and excitement, as he finally got to see Joslyn walk down the isle in her breathtaking custom made gown.  As the two locked eyes for the first time, that day, their smiles filled the room. They are such a cute couple!

After a very devote ceremony, family and friends celebrated with the newly married couple in the Mansion’s Viennese Ballroom.  The ballroom was  adorned just beautifully, by the Morgan Gallo Events team, and couldn’t have fulfilled Joslyn and Spergon’s vision better.

The weekend was everything these two had been anticipating and wishing for. The love these two have for one another was such an amazing thing to witness, and the joy Joslyn brings Spergon is one every couple should be lucky enough to have.

Congratulations you two!

Meet Joslyn and Spergon!

Tali and Joe (Wedding)

Last weekend was the beautiful wedding of Tali and Joe!

Tali and Joe are two of the sweetest people, that knew exactly what they wanted their wedding day to be like.  These two had very unique and personal ideas.  They both wanted the day to be fun, relaxing, and most of all about who they are as a couple. The wedding  and reception took place at the historic Harper Fowlkes House, here in Savannah, Georgia.

Keeping with the unique theme and distinct personalities, Tali wore a wedding dress that fit her and her personality perfectly. A dress adorned with white feathers!  I honestly could not imagine her in anything else.  And of course, Tali wore the brightest and cutest blue, Me Too shoes to complete her look!

Joe, just adores Tali. And it was so apparent, as he anxiously awaited his first look, of Tali, in her dress.  It was so cute!:)

The marriage of Tali and Joe represented what their marriage was really about, promising their love and life to one another. As guests gathered around the couple for a very intimate and personal ceremony, Tali and Joe exchanged their vows of devotion to one another.

In celebration of their marriage, Tali and Joe had  the most amazing first dance.  It was a beautiful and choreographed waltz.  Tali even changed into a shorter 30′s inspired dress for the occasion.

Family and friends celebrated into the night, and Tali and Joe were nothing but love and smiles!

Morgan Gallo and her team did an amazing job making Tali and Joe’s dream wedding come true.  From the lighting, to the details, everything was simple and elegant, in the garden of the Harper Folkes house.

Have an amazing time in Sedona, Arizona!

Meet Tali and Joe!

Bianca and Ramon (Wedding)

This weekend was the wedding of Bianca and Ramon!

You might remember these two from their engagement session back in January, and then Bianca’s recent bridal session.  Well this past weekend was finally their big day!  Bianca and Ramon have been together for almost 8 years!  You would never have known it has been so long, as their love and passion for one another is so strong.  The way these two look at one another, and hold each other is a beautiful thing to witness.

So to say the least, this big day was highly anticipated!  Both Bianca and Ramon had lots of nerves as well as excitement for the moment when Bianca would walk down the aisle and start their life together as husband and wife. Their ceremony took place at the brand new, Ballroom on Broughton.  Here the ballroom was lavishly decorated by Tricia Huddas and Co. with elegant white flowers, and candles lining the aisle.  All of Bianca and Ramon’s nerves melted away during an absolutely beautiful ceremony.

After the ceremony guests celebrated at the Charles Morris Center at Trustee’s Garden, where everything was dripping with decadent red fabrics and flowers.  Bianca and Ramon partied with guests who came from all over the southeast to celebrate in their big day.  After a long day of excitement and anticipation, these two were ready to head out on their honeymoon, and start their life as husband and wife.  The exciting thing for Bianca is that she has no idea where they are going on their honeymoon, Ramon is surprising her! I absolutely love this (as Rich did the same thing for us!)  Where ever these two go, I know they will have an amazing time, as Ramon and Bianca are the type of couple that only need one another to be happy and having fun!

Congratulations you two!
Have a great surprise Honeymoon!

Meet Bianca and Ramon!
